The Honor Council relies on the willingness of Valparaiso University students to take a stand for honesty. This involves not tolerating cheating in any form and being part of the Honor System, whether as a student or more actively as a member of the Council. As a member, you'll principally be a voice for academic honesty and occasionally sit on hearings to determine whether cheating has occurred. Every once in a while, you'll be asked to investigate or co-investigate a case. We continually strive to educate the campus on Honor Code policies and love to have people committed to this cause. The Honor Council is important, exciting, and fun, and it's a great way to give back to the Valparaiso University community. Join us!
