 Can you say "Cheese" ?

Creed of Lambda Chi Alpha

We believe in Lambda Chi Alpha, and its traditions, principles, and ideals. The crescent is our symbol — pure, high, and ever growing; and the cross is our guide — denoting service, sacrifice, and even suffering and humiliation before the world, bravely endured if need be, in following that ideal.

May we have faith in Lambda Chi Alpha and passion for its welfare. May we have hope for the future of Lambda Chi Alpha and strength to fight for its teachings. May we have pure hearts, that we may approach the ideal of perfect brotherly love.

 Brother of the Week:

Brother Matt Noffke
Graduating Year: May
2010
Year he joined Lambda Chi Alpha: Spring 2007 (Freshman)
Plans after graduation:  Work for Ernst & Young, LLP in the Chicago office and take the CPA exam
Why he became a Brother:
"As a Freshman entering my second semester, I had no intentions of going Greek. It was the furthest thing on my mind as I was content with football and studying. However, there was one brother, Kris Serra, who was adamant that I at least come out to one rush event. Reluctantly, I said "yes". Merely to get him off my back so that I could say I tried and go on my merry way. I remember going to the event, bowling, thinking I wouldn't know a soul and that it would be such a waste of a time. What a blessing in disguise. This one event turned out to be the catalyst to the best thing in my life. Within a two hour time span, I saw true brothers conversing and interacting on a level I didn't know could exist without being blood related. There was something different about these men. While they joked around and gave each other grief, they had a bond that was ever present and strong. I recall leaving the event hungry for more as I researched what these men stood for and the values they lived up too. It was in that moment when I knew that being a Lambda Chi Alpha brother was something that I wanted to be apart of for the rest of my life." -Matt Noffke
