VUMCSO was founded in 2008 by Geoff Stellfox. The team quicky gained a firm presence in the Midwest Alliance Soccer Conference, and was soon a member of the Central Division.
VUMCSO is a student run and coached organization. We are recognized and funded by VU Student Senate. While the main season is in the fall semester, we have practice year round and try to schedule non-conference games in the spring semester. During the fall, we have games on the weekend and 3 practices a week. In the off season we play in a competitive indoor league.
