GREAT LAKES METEOROLOGY CONFERENCE

The 8th Annual Great Lakes Meteorology Conference will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Strongbow Inn in Valparaiso, IN. Registration begins at 9 AM, and the conference will last from 10 AM to 7 PM. The keynote speaker is Les Lemon, a researcher for the National Weather Service Warning Decision Training Branch and the Cooperative Institute for Mesoscale Meteorological Studies at Oklahoma University who is known for his work in the design and development of the WSR-88D radar system.
