class of 2006
Graduation Events
 Composite pictures will be taken on Wednesday November 30th from 7 to 10 pm in the St. Louis Conference Room and Thursday December 1st from 11am-5pm in the Law Clinic lobby. Please send me (mandy.shell@valpo.edu) any conflicts you might have with any of the above times by Tuesday Nov. 1st at 5:00 p.m.
You will be scheduled for a 15 minute time slot so even if you are just in class or at work for 30 minutes I need to know about it to schedule accordingly. If there are conflicts after everyone has turned in the times they cannot do, the person who notifies me of their conflict first will get their time.
Students are not charged to be in the composite picture and will get a small poster-sized copy of the entire class. However, if you would like to order some of the pictures you will need to fill out a form and bring a $10 deposit on the day of your picture.
"Bar Review" events have been "continued" until the Spring semester. There will be no more "Bar Review" events this fall.
Iacocca Named Graduation Speaker
We are pleased to announce that Lee Iacocca has agreed to be the law school's commencement speaker in May 2006.
Lee Iacocca (born October 15, 1924 in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is an American industrialist. Among the most widely recognized businessmen in the world, Iacocca is the former chairman of Chrysler Corporation and was a passionate advocate of U.S. business exports during the 1980s. For more history on Lee Iacocca, visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Iacocca.
Many of you probably recognize Lee Iacocca from his recent Chrysler commercials featuring Jason Alexander, Snoop Dogg, and his granddaughter. Many thanks to Dean Conison and Ken Anderson, one of our alumni and a National Council member. Ken is Mr. Iacocca's attorney and advisor and extended the invitation on our behalf.
