You will be sent an estimate and invoice via email shortly after your request is approved. If you labor charge turns out to be lower than invoiced, a refund will be issued immediately after your event. If the labor is higher, you will be billed the difference. If we do not receive payment or proof of a budget transfer two days before your event, we will not be able to provide services. If this is an issue, please contact us immediately so we can work with you.

All Student Senate Approved organizations will no longer be charged an equipment rental fee, however, labor rates still apply.

All non-approved organizations and VU Academic Departments will be chaged the equipment rates below. These rates reflect a 50% discount. Non-VU groups should double the equipment price; labor price will remain the same.

Equipment

Stage Lighting

• Union Great Hall - $20 per event if stage is on East (window) Wall (6 hour max. $10 per hour after 6 hours) for general stage wash. Standard Labor rates apply to special lighting requests (adding lights, changing, moving to West (carpet) Wall, etc.).
• Portable lighting elsewhere - $50 per event plus labor. Minimum labor charge of 2 people at 2 hours each.

Coffeehouse package: $50*

Includes main speakers, amp, 6-channel mixer** and 1 monitor mix. Basic Lights included if in the Great Hall on the East (window) Wall. Labor charges apply.

Basic Concert: $75*

Includes main speakers, amp, 20-channel mixer, and up to two (2) monitor mixes. Basic Lights included if in the Great Hall on the East (window) Wall. Labor charges apply.

Full Concert: $100*

Includes main speakers with subwoofers, amp, 20-channel mixer, and up to four (4) monitor mixes. Basic Lights included if in the Great Hall on the East (window) Wall. Labor charges apply.

*These prices are for events in the Union. Locations outside of the Union will add $50 transportation fee to the total rental price.

** Each microphone, CD player, mp3 player, etc. will use up one channel.

Labor:

Standard: $10 per person per hour up to 8 hours

Overtime: $15 person per hour after 8 hours.

Multiple day events will require a minimum of 8 hours in between. Groups will be billed the overtime rate if there is not 8 hours between events.
