Secretary:

• After going through the chase logs with Brackett, we thought it would be best to make a chase log template/guidelines because there was a lot of inconsistency when it came to doing stats

Deputy Director:

• Storm Ready Meeting with NWS last Thursday
  • Thanks to everyone who helped check radios
  • Phil from Porter County EMA wants to coordinate with us if we do day chases in the area
  • We have been okayed by the WCM for storm ready and they will be coming back out to present us as officially storm ready
    • Formal Ceremony: we will let everyone know when will occur!
  • Every year e-board will have to plan two severe weather awareness talks for the community here at VU (one in fall and one in spring)
• Went through all chase kits and they are all ready to go chasing
• Manuals for chasing are almost done!

Director:

• Chase Log Stats are finally done!
  • Shared them with everyone!
  • Will be on the website soon
• Vote for making treasurer also the Webmaster (2/3rd’s vote necessary): Passed
  • Next school year the Treasurer will also serve as the VUSIT Webmaster
• Vote on buying jump drives (2/3rd’s vote necessary): Passed
  • These jump drives will be passed down from e-board to e-board throughout the following years
  • Information on the website, storm ready, Christmas banquet, storm logs and stats, and chase equipment manuals will be on these jump drives
  • Prof. Wolf will have a back up jump drive with all of our documents.  Also, everything will be backed up on paper
• VUSIT Latenight: we are thinking April 9th for now
  • For those who have never been to the late night we basically chill in the weather center, play rockband, and play football outside if it’s nice!
  • Just a fun night to hang out, not do work and get to know your department!
