The Valpo women's soccer team will head to the Horizon League tournament championship after they picked up their 2-1 semifinal victory against the number 2 seed Wright State Raiders. Brooke Henderson started the scoring for the Crusaders as she headed in a goal in the 29th minute, using as assist from Trisha Wladecki. Valpo never looked back as Jessie White knocked in her second goal of the season off an assist from Henderson to give the Crusaders a 2-0 lead. Wright State tried to crawl back into the game, getting a goal for Nicole Amador, but the Crusaders would hold on using four saves from Mele Cabral. The Crusaders play in the championship game Sunday at 1:00 P.M.
