The Committee on Residence is an important liaison between University Administration, Staff, and Students that exists to improve Residential life for all students living on campus.
Through the Committee on Residence, suggestions will be made to the residence halls and Student Senate on possibilities for improvement and ways to promote and coordinate residence hall and inter-residence hall activities including educational and social programming. The Committee on Residence is also responsible for House Council and Judicial Board constitutions, which must be approved by Student Senate.
The Committee on Residence is made up of the Assistant Dean for Residential Life, one Resident Learniing Coordinator, on Residential Advisor, the Vice-President from each House Council, and two Senators.
The Committee on Residence holds meeting at least once per month during the course of the academic year, and more frequently if necessary.
