THREE-YEAR BACCALAUREATE PROGRAM

Ladies walkingValparaiso University features the three-year baccalaureate program which offers students in selected programs the opportunity to complete their degree in three years by careful planning and the utilization of summer sessions. To complete their program as planned, students must apply for participation in the spring of their freshman year to make certain that they have the proper advising. Students should contact their academic adviser or the Office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at 219-464-5318 for more information.

The College of Arts and Sciences provides a special program in specific majors (Art, Communication, Foreign Languages, Geography, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Theatre and Television Arts, and Theology) which enables qualified students to complete their baccalaureate program in three years, provided that they meet certain eligibility requirements (i.e., 3.0 GPA, declare their program by the end of the spring semester, freshman year, and enroll in three VU summer programs).
