Valparaiso University Theatre Department auditions are open to all students

Regular rehearsal: August 28th - September 25th
Technical rehearsal: September 26th - October 6th
Performances: October 7th - October 11th
(Rehearsals times are generally Tuesday through Friday 7:00-11:00pm, and Saturday 1:00-5:00pm. Times may vary slightly during technical rehearsals.)
You do not need to prepare a monologue. Audition forms and scenes for both plays will be available to pick up ahead of time on the University Theatre call board, which is located at the west end of the hallway behind the university theatre main stage in the Center for the Arts. If you want, you may select a partner to audition with ahead of time. If not, then partners will be assigned at the audition. Please fill out your audition form ahead of time, carefully noting any conflicts.

Valparaiso University Dance Ensemble
directed by Ann Kessler and Kathleen Dominiak
Auditions: Friday, September 11, 4-7 p.m. in Kroencke Hall Dance Studio
Performance: February 11th-14th, 2010
The Valparaiso University Dance Ensemble is under the leadership of Department of Theatre faculty. All university students are welcome to join. Academic credit can be given for those students participating in the annual Concert of Dance held in February 2010. The annual concert highlights the work of faculty, student, and guest choreographers.
Dancers should plan to arrive by 3:45 p.m. to fill out audition forms. Dancers should plan on staying for the entire audition period. Come dressed for movement. Bare feet are fine. If dancers have dance shoes - bring them. We will be auditioning dancers in the following styles: modern, jazz.
