Tuba Christmas at Valparaiso University
Valparaiso University is scheduled to host TubaChristmas on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Chapel of the Resurrection on the Valparaiso University campus. TubaChristmas is an event created years ago by Harvey Phillips at Indiana University. A complete history of the event can be referenced at www.tubachristmas.com.
We need your help recruiting low brass players at every level and at every age group. These low brass players include: tuba, euphonium, baritone, tenor and sousaphone horns. The more participants we have in the event the better. Your support in recruiting musicians is vital to the success of TubaChristmas at Valparaiso University.
Encourage your students or low brass playing friends who want to participate to order their music now so there is ample time to practice prior to the December 4th Valparaiso TubaChristmas event. If you already have the TubaChristmas music book you are set, it does NOT change from year to year.
The best way to order music at this time is to go to the TubaChristmas website, www.tubachristmas.com, click on TubaChristmas Merchandise, then click on the TubaChristmas PDF order form. Print the order form and order the music that accommodates your specific instrument. Music will be for sale also on the day of the event at Valparaiso University to accommodate experienced players.
The fee to participate in the TubaChristmas at Valparaiso University is $10.00 per participant. This $10.00 registration fee will provide each participant with an official TubaChristmas 2016 button and a group photograph. The group photograph will be sent to each registered participant a few days after the Valparaiso University TubaChristmas event.
