Beginning Monday, March 24, we will begin taking limited reservations for the New Union. What do we mean by limited reservations?

1. At this time, we are only taking requests from on-campus departments and organizations only. We will announce when we will open this up to the general public as soon as possible.
2. In order to maximize our space and resources, the Union Director's Office will take the requests from on-campus departments and we will, at our discretion, place each organization in an appropriate space.
3. All rooms booked will be assigned a backup room either in the current Union or the CCLIR in the event furniture, construction, or other delays prevent us from opening by our projected January 2, 2009 date. Again, in order to maximize resources, we will also book appropriate backup rooms at our discretion.
4. Since the capacities and setup options for the backup rooms are limited, we may not be able to fill the rooms in the new Union to their full capacities. We will be limited to the occupancy level and setup configuration of the smaller of either the New Union room and the backup room).
