Office of University Relations

The mission of the Office of University Relations is to develop and direct a comprehensive marketing-oriented communications plan that positions Valparaiso University as an outstanding institution of higher education among critical constituencies of the institution. These efforts are designed to assure the University attains its goals relative to student enrollment, financial support and other elements of the institution’s strategic plan.

Through its own communication activities and its collaboration with colleagues managing communications programs in other campus departments, University Relation’s personnel provide leadership in maintaining and enhancing a positive image of the institution. These objectives are best achieved through a program that conveys clear, consistent messages about the institution. Themes that will be highlighted in communication include the high quality of academic activity, the excellence of faculty and students, the sound management of the institution and the success of its alumni.
