Basketball Tickets are on sale on campus Oct. 1 through Nov. 19 and from Ticketmaster or by walk-up at the United Center beginning Nov. 8. Ticket prices vary depending on seat location: Courtside - $150-$100 Tickets for the Valpo student section at the end of the floor are $15 each and are available only through the ticket office at the Athletics-Recreation Center on campus. Season ticket holders are reminded that a ticket to the game is included in each season ticket package. Post-Game Reception Valpo alumni and friends are invited for food and beverages at a post-game gathering following the game at United Center. Advance purchase of tickets is required. Tickets are $10 per adult and $5 per child 10 and under. Cash bar. Salvage One is located approximately 3 miles north of United Center. (?) Valet, lot and street parking are available. Late-Night Gathering After a day of basketball, fellowship and fun, join your friends at Kitty O’Shea’s Irish Pub in the Hilton Chicago. Valpo fans are encouraged to grab a table and meet informally with friends here between 8 and 11 p.m. Sunday Worship Service Join friends for a Valpo Worship Service beginning at 10 a.m. in the hotel’s Williford Room. University Pastor Joseph Cunningham will lead the service. Champagne Brunch Enjoy a wide assortment of delicious breakfast items and entrees along with fresh fruit, mouth-watering pastries, a variety of juices, coffee and champagne. Concert Returning to Chicago for the fifth time, the Valparaiso University Christmas Concert is gaining the popularity that has made it a campus holiday tradition for more than 75 years. The VU Chorale, Chamber Concert Band and Symphony Orchestra will perform sacred and classical music of the season. Tickets may be purchased on campus from Oct. 1 through Nov. 7 and by calling Symphony Center beginning Nov. 8. Ticket prices: Live Radio Performance The Valparaiso University Chorale, one of the nation’s premier Lutheran collegiate choirs, will perform live on Chicago classical radio station WFMT 98.7 Nov. 30 on “Music with Kerry Frumkin” between 4 and 5 p.m. Following the Chorale’s live, 20-minute performance, there will be an interview with conductor Dr. Christopher M. Cock, Duesenberg chair of Lutheran music. The Hilton Chicago will be Valpo headquarters for the weekend, and the hotel is offering a special Valpo rate for the weekend.
