Welcome New Faculty!
Class Observations
FLCs for Fall

Save the date for two important events:

  • Instructional Support Orientation on August 20, 2014
  • The Essential Character of the University on August 25, 2014

If you're looking for some additional feedback on your teaching, consider scheduling a class observation in which Cindy will shadow you during a specific class session. Feedback is confidential.

There are three Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs) that will be starting in the fall:

  • Applying Memory Science to the Classroom & Doing Research to See If It Actually Works (led by Kieth Carlson, Associate Professor of Psychology)
  • Beyond Textbooks:  Using Online Resources in Your Classroom (led by Jon Bull, Assistant Professor of Library Services)
  • Teaching Across Cultures (led by Lynn Grantz, lecturer in English)
