Best memories from your Valpo days:

By far my best memories were developed with the Ultimate Club team. In the beginning, I didn’t know anyone, and I was not very talkative. However, joining a club that shared the same passion and values that I did just make everything so much easier. The best memories were traveling to other states and competing with the national-caliber competition. We would support each other equally on the field as we did off the field, creating a family-like environment. Joining the club completely transformed my Valpo experience while gaining friendships that will last a lifetime.

Best memories from your Valpo days:

My favorite memory is going to my first World Banquet and getting to experience so many different cultures in one night. It’s a great opportunity to make friends, eat some great food and have fun. I kept coming back every single year!

How Valpo prepared you for your career path:

The college of engineering does a great job combining classroom and hands on learning, with projects like senior design which make the transition into the workplace a lot easier. Furthermore, having small classroom sizes means I was able to build closer relationships with my professors who helped me with the networking I needed to kick-start my career.
