How would you like to visit
Transfer students, your personal visit includes a walking tour of campus, meeting with a transfer admission counselor, and faculty appointment. Because our counselors’ calendars fill up quickly, please set up your visit at least two weeks in advance. Copies of your college transcripts are needed at least one week before your visit so we have time to review them for transfer of credit.

2018-2019 Valpo Preview Days
June 27 Summer Preview Day registration is now open!
Visit campus with other prospective students and their families to get a broad overview of Valparaiso University. Summer Preview Day begins with check-in at 8:00 a.m. and ends approximately 11:15 a.m.
Oct. 6, Nov. 10, Dec. 1, April 13 – Registration opens 6 weeks before each event.

This visit is designed to give you a more in-depth feel for what students experience at Valparaiso University. The program includes an introduction to your academic college with specific major sessions for students, lunch with current students, financial aid and admission next steps, campus resource sessions, and options to talk with various office representatives. Additional sessions are offered for parents. Registration opened in January.
Scheduling Your Visit
To arrange your personal visit with a transfer counselor, contact us two weeks before your preferred date so we can schedule a visit that suits your needs; less than two weeks could mean the date and time you desire is not available. We must have copies of your college transcripts at least one week before your visit.
If emailing, do so two weeks in advance and include the following:
- address, city, state, and zip
- daytime phone number
- school transferring from
- semester you wish to start
- academic interest
- preferred date & time of visit
