Generally, Biology Colloquium meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month during the academic year, 3:30 – 4:30 PM, Neils Science Center Room 224.  However, this year Darwin Day falls on Tuesday, February 12, so a special colloquium will be scheduled that day in the Christopher Center Library Community Room. In addition to the regularly scheduled Biology Colloquium, the joint VU-Colloquium on Innovative Science (VU-CIS) will meet occasionally each year. During these sessions, a speaker at the forefront of science will speak to a joint biology, chemistry, and physics & astronomy audience. All colloquia are free of charge and open to the university community and the public.
