Holy Week 2022

All are welcome to attend Holy Week services at the Chapel.

The Chapel of the Resurrection will host a full week of Holy Week services for 2022.

Palm Sunday worship begins at 10 a.m. on April 10. Rev. Katherine Museus Dabay will preach and preside.

Then Monday through Thursday, April 11-14, at 10-10:20 a.m. Morning Prayer will provide a series of first-person narratives, called “Were You There,” from the perspective of different characters, like Judas, Peter and Mary.

Maundy Thursday worship is at 7 p.m. April 14, with individual absolution, footwashing and Holy Communion. Rev. Katherine Museus Dabay will preach and preside.

Good Friday worship “The Seven Last Words from the Cross” and a new composition by Zac Flasch. Music by choral and handbell choirs. Starts at 12 noon April 15.

Easter Vigil is Saturday, April 16, beginning at 8 p.m. Rev. James A. Wetzstein presides.

The Resurrection of Our Lord will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 17, with special music by vocal and handbell choirs and Chamber Concert Band.
