Complementary Major or Minor in Humanities
Requirements for the Complementary Major in Humanities
The complementary major in humanities is ordinarily pursued in conjunction with the Christ College Scholar program of studies but may be pursued independently from the Scholar requirements. Any student, whether or not a member of Christ College, may earn a complementary major in humanities.
Please note: A course used to fulfill the requirements of a complementary major in humanities may not be used to fulfill the minimum requirements of any other major or minor.

Seven courses from the following options, at least one of which must be CC 325:
| CC 300 | Seminar (may be repeated.) | 3 cr |
| CC 325 | Seminar (may be repeated) | 3 cr |
| CC 455 | Inquiry in the Liberal Arts | 3 cr |
| OR an approved course through study abroad or immersion programs | 3 cr |
Total credits for Christ College Scholar honors (32 credits) + a complementary major in humanities (12 credits) = 44 credits total
Requirements for the Minor in Humanities
The minor in humanities is ordinarily pursued in conjunction with the Christ College Scholar program of studies, but may be pursued independently from the Scholar requirements. Any student, whether or not a member of Christ College, may earn a minor in humanities.
For students pursuing the CC Scholar designation, the minor amounts to six additional credits beyond Scholar requirements (2 CC seminars).
Please note: A course used to fulfill the requirements of a complementary major in humanities may not be used to fulfill the minimum requirements of any other major or minor.
