Church Vocations Symposium encourages students interested in different church vocations to interact with one another over discussions being held either online or in Classroom 205 of the Library building abbreviated (CCRL) on most Tuesdays at 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. during both fall and spring semesters. Presentations may include a professor reflecting on the relationship of his or her field of study and theology; missionaries, pastors, and other church workers describing their work and their call to ministry; or guest speakers on topics relating to contemporary ministry in the church today.
Text studies are led by Kristin Lewis, Instructor of the Church Vocations Symposium (THEO-399-EV), or a guest faculty/pastor/lay person member.
If you’re not on the “Church Voc” e-mail list and would like to be, send an email to doreen.olguin-flores@valpo.edu and we’ll add you to the list (limited to Valpo students, faculty and staff).
Date – Spring 2021 (THEO-399-EV) Non-credit, requirement for Allen Scholars but open to any VU student and meets on campus or online. |
