Biography

Gina is experienced in teaching, curriculum development, and designing training for traditional, hybrid, and online learning courses. Her goals at VU are to assist faculty with course design and development and to facilitate training in best practices for quality instruction and learning technologies.

Prior to this position at Valparaiso University, Gina worked at Ivy Tech Community College Northwest as an Associate Professor and Chair for the Department of Computer Information Systems and Technology, and Dean of the College of Business for the Valparaiso, Gary, East Chicago, and Michigan City campuses.

Gina was inspired at an early age to become a teacher. She continues to teach part-time as an adjunct at Ivy Tech with the Business Operations, Application, and Technology program. She’s also been an adjunct at Purdue University Northwest with the Department of Quantitative Business Studies, the Department of Computer Information Technology, and the Department of Computing and Informatics, and Valparaiso University’s Department of Computing and Information Sciences.
