Jim Brodzinski


Jim Brodzinski joined Valparaiso University as Dean of the College of Business in 2012. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic leadership, coordination, and guidance of the College. Brodzinski previously served for five years as dean of the Graham School of Management at Saint Xavier University, Chicago; as chairperson for the Division of Business Administration at the College of Mount St. Joseph; and as associate dean of the Williams College of Business at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Brodzinski has also taught at Mary Washington College, Kennesaw State College, and Salisbury State University, where he was the inaugural chair of the Department of Information and Decision Sciences. Brodzinski is the author of numerous publications and papers, the recipient of significant grants including several from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and has served as a consultant to a wide range of corporations related to organizational development issues. He also brings considerable international experience, having developed, taught, and/or administered programs in South America, Europe and Asia. He teaches classes in management, research methods, and information systems for both undergraduate and graduate students. Brodzinski and his wife, Elaine Crable, a professor at Xavier University, have four daughters.
