Marcie Sariol, Ph.D.
Ana “Marcie” Sariol enjoys teaching courses in “Cross-cultural Management” and “Business Policy and Strategy”. She received her Ph.D. in Management from the Robert C. Vackar College of Business & Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas- Rio Grande Valley. Previously, she taught at the University of South Dakota’s Beacom School of Business where she also served as the graduate program coordinator. Before beginning her academic career, she held several distinct roles at a Spanish bank, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria. She holds cross-disciplinary research interests spanning from strategic leadership and workplace incivility. As a proud American woman of Cuban and Mexican ancestry, she takes great pride in being at the forefront of embracing and helping to both promote and increase diversity and inclusiveness both inside and outside of the classroom to develop tomorrow’s business leaders.
