Accreditation

Valparaiso University is the only Lutheran undergraduate institution offering Bachelor of Science degree programs in civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering which are all accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org.

ABET serves the public globally through the promotion and advancement of education in applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. This accreditation affirms Valparaiso University’s College of Engineering as an innovative, quality program.

The College of Engineering tracks its program enrollment and graduation data, but does not cap enrollment in any engineering program. The enrollment data below represents all engineering students who have declared their major in each program. The graduation data represents the number of students who graduate from the program annually.
