Professor Rayman joined the faculty in 2011 and teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Her 34 years of clinical expertise has been in the critical care environment including medical, surgical, cardiovascular surgery, neurological intensive care and multiple trauma. Prior to teaching, she was a Cardiovascular Clinical Nurse Specialist and is certified in Critical Care Nursing. Professor Rayman also maintains a limited practice at St. Anthony’s in Michigan City as an education coordinator. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, Zeta Epsilon Chapter, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists. She is also a certified BLS and ACLS instructor.
