BSPH

The interprofessional curriculum prepares entry level, career-ready public health professionals to work in public health agencies both domestically and around the world. Valpo’s unique program partners undergraduate students with public health agencies in the United States and around the world to develop sustainable public health interventions to improve the health of populations served by those agencies. Undergraduate students have worked in the United States with environmental health agencies, federally qualified health centers, food banks, health departments, Indiana Health Services, and public health advocacy agencies to develop and implement public health programs. Globally, undergraduate students have partnered with health agencies in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Kenya, and Tanzania. Valpo’s public health program provides students with hands-on experiences essential to becoming successful public health professionals.
