Bailey Regier
Biography
Professor Bailey Regier joined College of Nursing and Health Professions faculty in 2022, and teaches in the undergraduate nursing program. She earned her BSN and MSN from Purdue Northwest in 2019 and 2021. Her past and current clinical experience is in Emergency Medicine. Professor Regier was a nurse during the Covid-19 pandemic locally, as well as traveling to California and Texas.
Professor Regier is passionate about justice in medicine, community among nurses, and readily access to healthcare . She pursued education in order to practice upstream nursing within the profession. Upstream nursing is rooted in the practice of prevention of disease and poor health. Her educational focus is equality, nurse wellness, and evidence based practice.
