Fitness & Human Performance

The concentration in fitness and human performance includes primary areas of study within the Exercise Science program, preparing students to pursue a variety of rewarding professions in areas such as fitness training, rehabilitation, and sports performance. As people become more conscious of the importance of physical activity in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the demand for qualified exercise science professionals is expected to grow. Job opportunities may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, strength & conditioning, personal training, and more. The exercise science curriculum also prepares students to advance their education beyond a bachelor’s degree.
