According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job prospects for medical and health services managers is projected to grow 32 percent from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average job growth rate.*

Valparaiso University’s Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Leadership (HCL) will prepare leaders with the skills required to meet the evolving demands of a dynamic healthcare landscape.

Students also have the opportunity to begin early-entry graduate studies during their senior year. In one additional year, students can complete their Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHCA).

Connor Carmichael details his experience in the Healthcare Leadership program in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. The program offered Connor the opportunity to see firsthand the importance of strategic planning in healthcare, and led him to find his passion.
