The Computing and Information Sciences Department offers graduate programs that prepare graduates for the future of technology regardless of what new languages, operating systems, and applications emerge.

We encourage CIS majors to combine their interest in computer science with their studies in other disciplines.

  • Master of Science in Information Technology
  • Master of Science in Cyber Security (available as a residential, mixed-format, or fully online program)

Candidates for the M.S. in IT may concentrate in the following areas:

  • Management
  • Computing

Students in either track may also opt to study for an additional Certificate in Information Security.

Two other certificate programs are available, the:

  • Certificate in Information Assurance – geared to those with policy, governance, and regulatory backgrounds and the
  • Certificate in Information Technology Fundamentals – for those interested in a general background in IT.
