Lydia Brauer’s research explores questions regarding curricular domains and concepts of textuality in secondary English curricula. As a former high school English teacher, Lydia is excited to help prepare secondary English teachers to facilitate the analysis and production of a range of texts and literacies and to consider how texts and literacies “live in the world” in sociocultural and economic contexts. Her work has been published in English Education, The Journal of Media Literacy Education, and European Journal of Cultural Studies.
