Sheryl DeMik teaches courses in special education and currently co-advises four student organizations: Kappa Delta Pi, Club Educate, College Mentors for Kids, and Alpha Phi Omega. She has served on the President’s Task Force for Diversity and Inclusion at Valparaiso University and served as President of the Indiana chapter of AHEAD (Association for Higher Education and Disabilities). Her work has been published in The High School Journal and Kappa Delta Pi Record. Sheryl previously taught in K–12 schools for 14 years.
