Summer Camp

Valpo Esports summer camps are an introduction to competitive Esports. All camps are led by players, coaches, and staff of the Esports program at Valparaiso University. The Valpo Esports program competes nationally in a variety of games, including, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros, League of Legends, Overwatch 2, and iRacing.
Camp goal: Create an engaging and informative college esports camp to help aspiring players improve their skills and explore opportunities in the competitive gaming world. Educational topics covered include streaming, physical and mental wellness in gaming, learning the collegiate competitive esports landscape, VOD review and analysis, hardware and setup, mental fortitude and sportsmanship, and much more.
Location: Valparaiso University Esports Lab, Harre Union Basement
Dates of Camp: July 15 – 17; day camp, not overnight
Times of Camp: 8:30a-5:30p (sample schedule below)
Grades: Campers entering 7th – 12th grade in the Fall of 2025
Cost: $160; includes t-shirt, lanyard, lunch, and admission into camp for three days

- 8:30a-10a: Camper Drop Off/Free Play
- 10a-11a: Team Activity/Instruction
- 11a-12p: Team Activity/Instruction
- 12p-1p: Lunch
- 1p-2:30p: Team Activity/Instruction
- 2:30p-4p: Team Activity/Instruction
- 4p-5:30p: Camper Pick Up/Free Play
