Why German at Valpo?
As a Valpo student of German, you’ll gain intercultural experience and strong language skills while pursuing the career you want. Your German major or minor pairs easily with nearly all majors on campus. Special Valpo programs combine German with engineering, business, teaching licensure, international economics, global service, and music. Courses in our award-winning program build your knowledge of German language, culture, media, professional life, and film.
Live with a native speaker in our German House and Cultural Center, where you’ll take courses and enjoy extracurricular programming and a German library. Choose among three study abroad locations in Germany. As a German major or minor, special scholarships for these opportunities are added to your existing financial aid.
