As of the Fall 2019 semester, the American Indian studies minor will no longer be offered.
Good options for students interested in Native American issues and culture and looking for the opportunity to study the historical geography, anthropology, and contemporary problems of a wide range of tribal groups should consider the American Studies, Ethnic Studies or Geography minors. Courses can be selected to explore the changing perceptions of American Indians in society and the current socio-economic challenges these groups face.
