What are you hoping to accomplish and or offer to GSAC?
I believe in sharing kindness and supportiveness with one another. Be a better committee member. Always have that positive vibe to share with everybody. Make friends from all cultures. Support each other as GSAC members.

What are three expectations that you have of this council?
To promote and let students know about the facilities and programs, encourage discussions and engaging with people. Help students with their concerns and needs. Volunteer whenever and wherever possible as I live just an 8-minute walking distance from campus.

How do you plan to represent graduate students on GSAC?

  • Put some special efforts to get students involved. Remember that we represent all students and not just one group, so working together and always have a down-to-earth attitude.
  • Have meetings short and to the point. Keep record of process.

What led to your decision to become a graduate student at Valpo?
To make it short: It is the unique course curriculum offered that I found interesting here for my masters that includes both International Economics and Finance. It’s the only the first reason I chose this university. Because in most of the other U.S. universities, it is MS in only finance.

What is one interesting fact about yourself?
People find me strange in many of these following but are interesting as I go. I am an animal lover, vegan/half vegan, and kind of a feminist (meaning support women empowerment). I am a sports person; I love to play badminton, table tennis, 8-ball pool, and any outdoor sport.

What is your favorite food?
Vegetarian South Indian curries (“Daal” being 1st, )
