What are you hoping to accomplish and or offer to GSAC?
I would expect to share my experience with fellow graduate students and contribute to their new ideas, solutions to their queries, and industry-specific knowledge with them and help them to become industry ready. Additionally, I would serve as an effective mediator between administration, faculty, and students for all the queries/concerns/expectations regarding studies and all the supporting activities.

What are three expectations that you have of this council?

  • Regular catchups to discuss the peer graduates’ concerns and new programs/team activities for enhancement in studies and career path
  • Exchange of new thoughts which would help the peer graduate students to become more expressive and connected
  • Team work towards a common goal in lieu of the values of Valparaiso University to provide maximum support to graduate students

How do you plan to represent graduate students on GSAC?
My plan is to represent the graduate students on GSAC by remaining professional, solution-oriented, and a buddy who will always be there for their concerns.

What led to your decision to become a graduate student at Valpo?
The selection of Valpo for my second master’s is completely based on the course and curriculum. International Economics and Finance curriculum is not only restricted to the core economics and finance subjects but also includes current industry-specific requirements like Business Analytics, Data Science, New Venture Creation, and Data Mining.

What is one interesting fact about yourself?
Being a working professional prior to coming to Valpo, I love to make activities/knowledge/processes easier and more enjoyable for my colleagues so that they will enjoy each and every moment while working.

What is your favorite food?
Tandoori Chicken (Roasted Chicken)
