What are you hoping to accomplish and or offer to GSAC?

I am hoping I would be a connecting link between students in the Information Technology program and the Graduate Students Council. Keep my colleagues up to date with different events and opportunities available for them on campus and off campus.

What are three expectations that you have of this council? 

I hope I can learn more about the council the rules it serves, get to meet and get to know students representing other programs and build a network with the staff and faculty to be able to help and assist students in my department.

How do you plan to represent graduate students on GSAC? 

I plan on representing my program by becoming their voice and making sure that whatever issues or concerns they face can be heard and dealt with.

What led to your decision to become a graduate student at Valpo? 

I am interested in improving my knowledge when it comes to computers, phones and smart devices. I work as an Administrative assistant here at VU and had always wanted to be of help to VU and the faculty, students, and staff I work with.  

What is one interesting fact about yourself?

I speak Arabic and have a master’s degree in ESC (English Studies & Communication)

What is your favorite food? 

Fruit!
