Homecoming 2022

General Information

Registration Information

Registration Fee
The non-refundable $10 registration fee helps to cover the overhead costs of Homecoming 2022, including your name badge/event tickets, furniture rental, staffing, postage, and printing. Over 50 Valparaiso University staff make every effort to make sure your weekend runs as smoothly as possible. The University greatly subsidizes Homecoming & Reunion Weekend in an attempt to make it affordable for all guests. Guests 12 & under will not incur a registration fee.

On-Site Registration Restrictions
Registration on site is strongly discouraged and may be prohibited, as events often fill to capacity well before the weekend. Guests who register on site will incur an additional charge of $5 per person for each event. In an effort to be good stewards of our resources and eliminate food waste, no refunds will be issued for cancellations for dinners and other events with a fee. Thank you for understanding.

Check-In Procedures and Hours

After you formally register for Homecoming via the website, you will receive a confirmation email that lists your event itinerary and serves as a receipt.

When you come to campus, please visit us under the express “Homecoming Check-In” sign near the Harre Union Welcome Desk that corresponds with the first letter of your last name to check in and receive your name badge. This name badge serves as your ticket to the events for which you have registered, so be sure to wear it all weekend! Your badge will also display a QR code that will be used to scan you into events you attend.

Should you wish to add an event to your itinerary, please visit us under the “Homecoming Check-In Assistance” sign and we will register you as we are able.

Check-in hours are:
Friday:10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Saturday: 6:45 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Alumni Engagement may add additional check-in times as events necessitate.
