  • Student Organizations information as it is related to Student Senate
    *Note: This information relates primarily to organizations that are already recognized by Student Senate and the university, and therefore, are eligible to receive funding from Student Senate. If you are interested in starting a new student organization, you can find information and the form to do this here.
  • If you want to request funding from Student Senate visit the Student Organization Suite or go to https://www.valpo.edu/student-senate/student-organizations
    • Click request funding and you will be taken to https://www.valpo.edu/student-senate/committees/finance-committee/
      • You will find the Budget Template Instructions (pdf) and the Budget Template form on this page
        • The template instructions provide how to create a budget on the Budget Template Form, as well as an explanation of what items (i.e. events) will go under each category
      • The Finance Committee sets the deadlines for all budget submissions and your Student Senate Liaison or the Finance Committee will email you ahead of time to let you know when that date is
      • *Note: Tier 3 budgets will be due each semester usually around November in the Fall (for spring budgets) and in March (for fall budgets). Tier 2 and Tier 3 budgets will be due during the spring semester around March (for the following year).
      • *Note: The maximum amount of money you can request is determined by your Tier
