Julie-May was born and raised in Lebanon. She attended a French school for 15 years before she decided to move to the United States. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in international business and in 2013 with an MBA in finance. While studying for her bachelor’s degree, she was tutoring part-time French language. In addition to the different cultures to which she was exposed and the languages she learned, she became skilled in preparing different food from different cultures, starting with hummus, shawarma, and tabbouleh and ending with stroganoff, tacos, and sushi.
