Chinese Students Association (CSA)

The Valparaiso University Chinese Student Association (VUCSA) was established in August 2007. It is a student organization dedicated to promoting social, intellectual, and cultural activities for Chinese students and scholars at Valpo as well as other interested members in the Valparaiso community. It also strives to provide opportunities to enhance cultural sharing among Chinese students and students of all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. VUCSA encourages all, especially incoming Chinese students and scholars at Valpo, to join and participate in our organization.

Goal of VUCSA:

Driven by the purpose of fostering leadership development through the coordination of cultural, educational, and awareness projects, Valparaiso University Chinese Student Association (VUCSA) works toward its goal by coordinating regular student-led events that highlight cross-cultural experiences, coordinating with other Valparaiso University organizations and community members to organize and promote intercultural relations and events, and establishing relationships among University Chinese students, scholars, faculty, staff, and the Valparaiso community.
