IT currently uses Microsoft’s System Center Endpoint Protection antivirus protection software. This software is installed on all University-owned computers, and is configured to automatically update and run scans. If you receive error messages or the regular scan interrupts your daily tasks, please place an ITicket for assistance.
Do not install additional antivirus software onto any University-owned computer, as it may cause software conflicts and leave you unprotected.
The Help Desk can provide you with recommendations on good anti-virus software, whether free or a paid subscription service, to install on your personally-owned equipment to protect yourself.
