Through an arrangement with a vendor, Valpo students, faculty, and staff can purchase software for personal use at a discounted price through the “On the Hub” e-store from Kivuto Solutions. A valid ValpoNet login is required to access the store which is located at The purchase of one software license of each product is available to each authorized person. Once purchased, software cannot be returned and refunds cannot be given. Applications available through the “On the Hub” e-store include titles by Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Corel, Nero, VMWare, Norton, and many more.

The products available through the e-store are for use on personally-owned equipment and are not intended for use on equipment owned by Valparaiso University. In some cases, the University has license agreements for software which incur no additional charge to a department. In addition, all students, faculty, and staff get free access to Office 365 while they are at Valpo. A valid Valpo email address is required. For more information, click here:

Many equipment vendors offer discounted prices to students, faculty and staff at educational institutions. When you’re shopping, remember to ask any computer manufacturers if they offer an educational discount. Many do offer such discounts and do not require any special agreement with Valpo.
