Dr. Peixing Jiang believes that students should understand not only today’s material, but also tomorrow’s material. The main goal of education is to teach “how to learn” rather than to teach facts and concepts. He believes students should gain experience with rapidly evolving technology, and an effective teacher must motivate students by a combination of enthusiasm and challenging.

Dr. Peixing Jiang had a wide range of teaching experience in Kinesiology (Exercise Science), such as Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology/Biomechanics, Strength and Conditioning, Assessment and Prescription in Health and Fitness, Advanced Personal Trainer. He has prepared students to be certified as Advanced Personal Trainer, Exercise Specialist, and Strength and Conditioning Specialist.


Professor Jiang’s research interest is biomechanics analysis of human movement, such as gait and sports skill. He is also specializing in development of strength training systems and periodization design for athletes. He is a member of American College of Sports Medicine association and a member of National Council of Strength and Fitness.
