Graduates must use the Diploma Request on DataVU to order their final diploma and submit information about their diploma delivery preferences. The day that diplomas are printed, an email notification will be sent to all graduates from the university registrar’s office with one of four messages:
- Diploma ready for pickup
- Diploma is printed, but you must first resolve a hold on your account
- Diploma has been mailed as requested
- Diploma will be mailed as soon as you resolve a hold on your account and let us know
Pickup will take place at the office of the University Registrar. *Please note: a diploma hold will be placed on a student account if regalia is not returned to Lorrie Hodge following the Commencement ceremony.
August graduates do not receive a diploma until mid-August. If you receive honors such as magna cum laude – your diploma will be professionally re-printed and available to you by the end of summer. Please make sure you have left a forwarding address with Law Registrar Melissa.Mundt@valpo.edu if you want the reprinted diploma mailed to you.
