Faculty News Associate Professor David R. Cleveland, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Legal Writing Directors (ALWD). ALWD is a non-profit professional association of leaders in the fields of legal analysis, advocacy, and communication. Its membership includes professors from law schools throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. Professor Cleveland is currently serving as ALWD's Conference Committee Co-Chair for its 2013 Biennial Conference. Professor Faisal Kutty's article, "Muslims Hold Key to Fighting Terror," which argues that the Muslim community has a duty to the mainstream to address the perception, real or imagined, about extremists within.
