Lezlie Ontiveros is the Director of the Office of Multicultural Programs. She works under the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Division which is led by Dr. Angela Vidal-Rodriguez. Her office supports underrepresented students on campus and oversees four student organizations – AAPIC, Alliance, BSO, and L.I.V.E. Before joining Valpo University, Lezlie has served in a variety of roles within education. She has worked as an academic advisor for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students across different institutions. Lezlie is well-versed in retention practices and understands the issues that today’s students face. She understands the importance of creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students can thrive.
Lezlie received her B.S in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University and her M.S in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University. Originally from Chicago, Lezlie now resides in Crown Point with her partner and their dog.
